St. Clair County, Michigan
Work is more particularly described as 15,500 square yards of pavement removal, 4,500 square yards
of cold milling, 15,000 square yards of rubblizing concrete, 5,300 Tons of asphalt, 1,900 tons of
aggregate base and 900 tons of shoulder aggregate with pavement markings, monument boxes, and
miscellaneous items.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in
the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of
five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract.
This work shall be in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard
Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans and Supplemental Specifications. Proposal blanks
