Work is more particularly described as 38,000 square yards of cold milling HMA surface, 250 tons of shouldering, 3,620 tons of asphalt paving, 7,500 feet of sinusoidal corrugations, on M-19 with pavement markings and miscellaneous items.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract.
This work shall be in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans and Supplemental Specifications. Proposal blanks including supplemental specifications may be obtained on the Bid Express Website.
